In 2002, Cherie entered the real estate industry after a career in finance as a financial consultant at Solomon Smith Barney. She joined a small real estate brokerage firm that provided very little training. She had very little knowledge of the real estate industry and how to operate in it. That combination did not make for good business. In a quest for knowledge about real estate, she joined Jack Conway Realtors, which provided an excellent training platform. Under this type of training she flourished and became #1 in listings in her office. That experience taught her the importance of proper training and education in the real estate business. It is with that passion for education that Professional Real Estate Training Institute was founded. Cherie passionately believes that education can equip you for success.

Cherie is a founding board of director’s member of the Boston Community Development Collaborative (BCDC). BCDC is a collaboration of community organizations and churches that promote economic development and financial education in the inner city. This powerful collaboration has partnered with Tremont Credit Union to open a Community Based Credit Union, located at 41 Warren Street, Roxbury, MA. Through BCDC, Cherie also teaches financial literacy to children, teens and adults.

She is an MBA graduate and also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Eastern Nazarene College.
